First run of the day, and first time running with a passenger (you can hear him say "oh s***" about 5 seconds in). Not my fastest run (59.743), but probably the most fun!

I'm wondering if there's a way for me to know which runs y'all are dashcamming so i can be aerialing at the same time so y'all can mesh together the two. I'll have to ponder that.

Not too easy since the cars don't run in a strict order, especially two driver cars. About the only way that comes to mind is if you happen to get the time from the announcer on video.

I had a thought last night as I was falling asleep. What if a walkie talkie between the starting flagger and myself, and the drivers with the cams on and ready can tell the flagger when they approach and the flagger can tell me, and I stop whatever and return to the starting line to assure that run with that driver and that dashcam and my aerial are all the same run.
Probably not a big deal, just a thought.

I think If you had a volunteer sitting at the motor home with an FRS radio just for you it would help you.
From my perspective (as a starter) I need to keep my eyes on the event and the staged car. The starter needs to look and see if any cars are having issues ahead as well as make sure the driver on the line is belted in and paying attention. I would not want to announce the driver or car every time a car came to the line and still have to pick up the early cones .... ... . . and all the other safety stuff.
We broadcast over the PA and the announcer is in a better position to call cars out that are on the line. The finish calls are more important especially in PAX classes so I can see them missing many cars on the line.

Okay let me ask this, is it one dash cam being passed around or do most have their own?
