I was just reviewing some of the video in my camera. I must say Tom, you really did recreate the essence of the East Course at Nationals. It was great fun in Lincoln, and it was great fun at AAA Speedway on Sunday. Thank you and the Berry clan for the memories of Lincoln. Great courses both days.

I was wondering why it felt so familiar, the east course was by far my favorite of the 2.

I totally agree, Thanks Tom for the effort and creativity of the layout.

On the converse though, First run group conditions, to me, where horrible.
All of the rocks and rubber from Saturday where right in the driving line for Sunday in at least 3 corners, especially the finish section.
I had a personal setup issue of using old Toyo's bear in mind too.
But, I did see at least 5 spins though in the run group.

As I was leaving the course from a course walk, I did see a blower out there. That job may have been rushed or something?? Not sure.

Now that you mention it.... Someone tried to blow the course, but pulled the rope a little too hard and broke the rope. And the internal mechanism*. We tried in vain to push-start it, but no dice.

*I'll cut him some slack since the rope was only two feet long from the factory. I think he reached the end of the rope long before he expected to.

Yes, very nice course, 'though I thought it ran better and was more fun on Sat.

The course sucked on Sunday 'cause I finished 5th, my worst of the year. Terrible for someone trying to hang onto a points lead. My difficulties mastering the difficult task of HOW and WHEN to shift from 1st to 2nd three out of four runs may have had SOMETHING to do with it, but I'm blaming the course...and the evil course designer.

In all seriousness...I loved both courses. And out of curiosity, what is the consensus as to the difference in "quicknness" between Saturday's course and Sunday's course. I'm assuming Sunday was quicker (how the heck would I know?). 2 seconds, 3 seconds, more? None of the above?

There was a dip-hump-dip in that last corner that was the biggest offender.

We tried in vain to push-start it, but no dice.

I'm trying real hard not to picture you guys trying to "push-start" a blower

My neighbor Kara came out Saturday for her first time, and I told her that this course was a perfect example what an autocross course should be. Great job Tom and company.

It was suggested, but I didn't actually try to push start. On the other hand I would have grabbed the other blower but it has had flat tires since I can't remember when.
