Points Question

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but...

If a driver runs in different classes for different events (i.e. normally runs SS, but runs SK2 for 1 or 2 events) how does that effect the year-end points totals? Is that driver then listed in both classes or do the points from the SK2 event(S) get added to the SS points or how does that work? Can the event that the driver ran out of his/her normal class be considered a "drop? (whatever that means)?

Thanks in advance.

Eric

It would be nice if points followed the card number, I agree.

Although the points earned in one class were not earned against people in the other class?

Points are class specific, not card number specific. Nothing about that differs from any other form of motor sport.

The overall isn't class specific. It counts a card numbers points earned in the overall pax/indexed results each event. So, that does what you guys want.
