Rains?

Post by Bill Martin »

I better throw some streets in the trailer for rains just in case. My old RS3's are a second better than R1R's in dry, but how about wet? I expect the R1R's are pretty good, but haven't heard anything said about RS3's. Thanx.

I don't find the RS3's very good in the wet ... I would imagine the R1R's to be better. What size R1R's ?

Yeah, that's part of the problem in the dry, small R1Rs (195), big RS3s (225). But if seriously wet small may be good. And I know the Toyo's have better cold performance rubber. And these are the horrid cheating MAGIC model, now banned in RT.

Yeah, they're packed. That almost certainly means it won't rain Sunday pm. You're welcome.

The RS3 blows in the wet. That plus the fact they're wider than the r1r and the r1r is good in the wet tells me the r1r is the way to go.

My r1rs worked really well in the super wet practice.
