The OS Giken SoPac Super Regional Autocross Championship is less than three weeks away. For this event, the entry deadline is earlier than usual, June 14. You will still be able to register after that date but it comes at a cost. Last year we had about 12 people who missed the deadline and had to pay a $50 penalty to register late.

Reason we need your entry in earlier - a lot more work is required to organize work groups and workers and we need the weekend to get organized and get things posted.

So here is fair warning, register early to avoid the penalty.

George: What is the cost of the Test N Tune? I think the flyer says "additional cost". Also, on the flyer you have NO Chief of TECH.

The Test n Tune is open from 12-4. From 12-1, prices are $3 per run, cash only. From 1-4, tickets are required. Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20.

This is the final week to register for the OSGiken SoPac Super Regional Autocross Championship without incurring an additional charge. Register here.

Yep, just three days left until the price goes up.

The hours for the Friday practice are from 12-4. No need to sign up, just show up. There is a special cash price of $3 per run from 12-1. After that, you'll need a ticket. Ticket prices are $5 per run or 5 for $20.

The welcome party starts at 5 and goes until 7. Mexican theme this year. Rodrigo will be there with the taco grill and John Edwards of R & D Machine Shop in Costa Mesa will be on hand to make his famous huge bowl of guacamole. I also understand that some of Stacey Christopher's world famous desserts are also planned. Don't miss the party.

Those of you who cannot run both days can still sign up for either Saturday or Sunday. For local points, this counts as two individual events. HOWEVER, PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED, EVEN IF JUST COMPETING JUST ONE DAY.

NO WALK-UPS FOR THIS EVENT.
