The time has come to sell our 2011 National Champion 2006 Pontiac Solstice. $19,500. Over 35K invested. The car purchased from Tom Berry and has a salvage title in 2009. Eric Clements converted the car with a complete ZOK suspension package (control arms, springs and rear chassis bar). The car had all new ABS braking system componets installed in 2010. The Penske shocks have the new style compression adjustment canisters that have been massaged by Steve Watt and dyno'ed with force values printed out numerically on each shock adjustment in inch pounds.
The car comes with 4 sets of wheels. We have a set of Super light Volks @2.5K, set OZ Allegritta's, set SSR's, and a stock set of wheels. New cat converter in late 2009, cat back exhaust, Dave Rebello valve job, rear caster adjustment gauge, developed alignments by Darin Nishimoto at West End.
We have 1 new set of 275 Rivals that we ran for the first time last weekend, 1 set of 265 Z11's with 50 runs, 1 set of A6's with 12 runs at San Diego Tour and 1 set of StarSpecs for practice that work great with 350 runs on them and still going strong. The car also comes with 2 sets of Blackwatch thermal tire bags and car cover. This car needs nothing. Ryan Buetzer was the #1 PAX'ed STOCK car and the 4th fastest overall stock car at the 2011 Nationals. Ryan is planning on entering the 2013 Nats and there is a seat open right now for anyone interested in buying our Solstice. The car has over 15K invested in shocks, wheels, and tires and is meticulously maintained by Steve Lepper.
We have all the stock FE2 suspension components as well as all our setup sheets.

Good luck with the sale Tim. Unfortunately, I sold my Corvette a couple of weeks ago. We can cry on each other shoulders.

Do you know the weight of the car?

Never weighed it Steve. All I know is Ryan was the C/S National Champion by a big margin in 2011 while being the top PAXed stock car. So whatever it weighs the weight doesn't prevent the car from being very adjustable and very fun to drive. It's a safe bet that Ryan would have won C/S again last year but decided not to tow back and just fly back and co-drive with Mike Johnson in his SSP Vett. Steve Lepper is getting to car ready now to go back to Lincoln next month. I would expect Ryan will be the man to beat in C/S again this year. Of course time will tell and we will know soon.
My guess with the A/C delete, lightest wheels made and aluminum shock bodies that it is in the low 2800 pound range. It's probably heavier than a factory built ZOK. The weight I see posted online indicates it weights 2860. Locally Ryan ran the car twice last year and PAXed first both times. First on 67 run Hoosiers in C/S and first running on 250 run Star Specs in RTR. You probably know that Will also PAXed first locally in C/S during the 2011 season when he ran with us. The car is more refined and better that ever now.

I'm think'n that looks more like Ryan's replacement "This Sharon". The "RTRL" gave it away.
BTW, We'll be wanting to BUY this shot.

Haha, I thought it was odd that "Ryan" DQ'ed there!

This car is extremely well balanced, and very easy to drive (not easy to do it like Ryan though).
You will not be disappointed.
