Not in 2014.

There isn't a ladies school currently scheduled, but it is too early to say we won't have one.

Um, June 7-8 @ El Toro conflicts with the Crows Landing ProSolo - not good

All the local events are loaded in the Google Calendar at
http://www.solo2.com/EventCalendar.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Note that there is an "add to my calendar" button on each event, so you don't have to retype everything if you're the sort who keeps these things on your own personal electronic calendar.

What were you expecting to hear? El Toro dates were contracted many, many months ago. We actually have to contract before the National schedule can be determined.

Looks like you just have to keep your local average up. ;)

I was hoping to hear, "Let's see if there are any dates that we can trade w/others at El Toro so we don't conflict with a national date that's "next door" and where we'll loose 20 of our members, many of which are our core members."
But I guess that's just crazy talk, given that Bill Schenker is saying it.

If it worked that way, perhaps. Doesn't work that way anymore.

I agree with you Bill.......But you, of all people, as a supporter of government running our lives, should like this. After all it's a perfect example of the loss of freedom to do something that sounds simple and reasonable, ie like work out a swap with someone else, now that government is involved in the process!

This was inevitable once San Francisco picked up two (well deserved) national dates. For those who have never done it, it's extremely difficult to weave your way through all the dates, and at some point you lose out. If you try to avoid every single conflict, you would only have 5 events a year. We don't have a conflict because Qualcomm is completely closed out for THREE weekends in June because of a convention (happens every year in June, but 2014 is the worst).

All I read Bill saying is can we TRY to trade? Not suggest we cancel conflicting events. Seems a reasonable request from up here in the cheap seats, but if it really can't be done, that's his answer.
George, how the hell did you squeeze in to the right of me? I'll bet it was a Joe-the-Plumber inspired thing.

I had a blast on my first outing at 11/24/13 Auto X and want to sign up for 2014 events.
When and where can we sign up for the 1/18~1/19 Fontana Auto X??
I've been checking Motorsportsreg.com for a while, but all I see is SCCA racing sign up and no Auto X registration.
Anyone know??
Thank you

Glad you had a good time at your first event! Though the dates have been scheduled, the fliers haven't been posted yet. I don't know when they'll be posted and registration opened, but given that it's the holidays, my guess is they might not be up until late Dec./early Jan. Happy holidays!

Gotta go in and redo all the stock classing before I can start posting flyers. Not to mention figuring out run groups, which we may not be able to do until the majority of people sign up. I'll probably get to my part by next weekend.

Having blown up two consecutive pro solos I appreciate the event being scheduled the same days as the long beach grand Prix which I should be working. Will keep me from killing the new engine

Please note that there has been a change to one of the March dates above.
Due to some scheduling conflicts, we've moved our late March date up one week. New date is March 15-16.
