I've just joined with the ambition of learning how to drive my BRZ properly.
Is there any instruction offered at any of these events?

SCCA Starting Line School is coming to Fontana January 17th. http://www.sccastartingline.com/#events
It's your best bet for really learning a lot in a day.
At local events you can get instructor run which will help but will take a long time to really get you up to speed.

What's the current rule now for ride-alongs at championships? I know it's more liberal, but haven't seen it in writing.
