255/35-18 Hankook RS3v2. 15 runs at Qualcomm with a well-aligned car (light and even wear), plus about 100 street miles.

245/40-18 Bridgestone RE71R. Don't have them yet but they'll be available Monday, will have 1 driver at the ET Pro plus a few hundred miles of wear on them.

$500/set would be great?

Someone who's been paying attention can verify this, but aren't those Bridgestones the ones I'd want for my Focus ST?

If you are talking about for the stock wheels, they should work. If you look at the Focus ST GS setup page, people are running a few 18 sizes.

Robert, be happy to sell them to you...however IIRC Scroggs was on 17's. He did spend a LOT of time in third gear this past weekend though, maybe the 18's would have been better... ;)

I get that the 17's are probably the way to go, but considering how often I might actually autocross this car, for me it's not worth buying the extra wheels.
A set of good tires though, that's a different story.
