Thank You John Fendel!

It was back 2002 or there about that I stumbled upon this sport, purely by accident. A lot of things have changed since then. But there is one thing that hasn't changed, and that's John Fendel.
In our sport, volunteers are essential. Every worker you see, every chief, the event master, all those behind the scenes, are all volunteers. Some more visible that others. John is one of those guys that, because of health reasons, doesn't get out as much as he used to. But for the rare occasion you see his beautiful vintage red Mustang lumbering around the course, many new to the sport may not know who he is, or even recognize him enough to pick him out of a line up. Quietly, John is there at almost every event, drawing a course map for our archives, and tallying the Team Championship, Team Challenge, and lifetime points, largely without recognition.
John, I just want you to know that you are appreciated, by me, and I'm sure many others. I just wanted to publicly say thanks for all you've done for us in the many years since you've adopted these tasks and made them your own. Thank you very much my friend! Looking forward to seeing those tallies for many years to come!
