Falken Azena 615 VS Toyo Proxes R1R

I have to replace my front tires on the Mustang.
I've been wanting to try out the CAM class, or maybe a CAM index in the Historic class, so this is a good time to try it.
Does anyone have an opinion or experience running either Falken Azena RT615 or Toyo Proxies R1R tires on a heavy, rear wheel drive car?
I'll be using 275x40x17 on a 10" rim on the front of the car, if that makes a difference.
Can they be run at full treat depth or should they be shaved?
Also, if you have an idea about starting tire pressure, that would also be a help.
Thanks.

John,

I have had good luck on the Falken 615K's. They worked from full tread and I ran them at 38 front and 36 rear.

Now, you might need to cool them after the second run.

I wouldn't be surprised if a 255 Rival S isn't faster. Or a 255 RE-71R.
