Hi everybody,

A friend of mine has a Ford Explorer that needs service (routine maintenance) and is looking for a mechanic in the Thousand Oaks area. Does anybody have any recommendations?

This isn't a Ford specific mechanic, but I go to Boykin Automotive in Thousand Oaks to get my car serviced. I don't know if you friend's Explorer has the 4.6 liter V8, but they have a lot of experience with those engines, as they service a whole fleet of Lincoln Town Car taxis with the same engine.
