The liberal wackos are just out of control. The next four years with Obama the terroristophile and his congressional supermajority is going to be the biggest disaster since.... 8 yrs of W.

Pretty depressing. But I'm proud to be declared a racist for voting for the white guy from my own political party. How about a little toss back on the 97% of black voters with a favorable rating on Obama. Nothing to do with race there....

Saw An American Carol last night. Loved it. That probably makes me a racist and a bigot too and a fear monger and a brain dead Bushie. Really liked the ACLU zombie lawyer shooting gallery with Dennis Hopper. At Disneyland tomorrow on Buzz, I'll have to pretend to be shooting liberals... Then maybe I can finally get level 7.

Let's just get this straight: no matter what, Fox CANNOT be trusted for non-biased reporting. They are the ONLY news network of the "big 4" that has a corporate policy to report w/a conservative bias. :barf: You don't toe the policy, and you will be fired. :mrt: And don't give me any crap about MSNBC; they very well may have a liberal bent, but it is NOT stated policy.

And before you neo-con war mongers start shooting off yer yappers about something you don't know, talk to Tom T. who DOES know and was there (FOX News).

Guess that makes up for the kid in 6th grade who told me that that political assassination was perfectly fine after RFK was murdered.

Really, Steve, a bunch mouthy middle school kids and story on Fox "isn't worth a bucket of warm spit."

First off, good for Fox. Its them against EVERYBODY else. That's great business. Just look at their ratings.

Second, the story is on a fox affliate.... So it didn't happen? The racism thing is everywhere. Look at the AP thing over Palin... Or that idiot racist John Lewis... Code words. Tinged with racism.... Huh? Obama isn't one of us not because of his skin color or his Kenyan father with multiple wives and kids all over the planet. Obama is a true Harvard liberal intellectual post modern neo-hippie. Mom was the real deal, a true radical hippie of the highest order who couldn't be comfortable living in this evil country. Obama just put a suit on. And he's not a muslim. He's an intellectual atheist who looks down on all people of faith. And the people who call him an Arab.... Well, the country is full of ignorant inbred's. But for the middle American Palin demographic and broader than that, just moderate middle class types like me, Obama IS NOT one of us. He is from a "different" place. The American black community I could handle and understand. I can't accept or understand or ever trust somebody from Obama's neighborhood. And he's offensive to us. I couldn't care less about his skin color. Prof. Ayers probably puts on an interesting class. I was aware enough as a student to learn from a communist/radical and not be seduced by one. I wouldn't launch my career in their living room. And I wouldn't elect his disciple President. Unfortunately, America isn't that bright. Obama will have no check on his power. Not even the filibuster. American has never been this threatened.

There is a WSJ article talking about the anti-anti-terror lobby..... I had a minor in English, I'm pretty sure the Anti-anti-terror lobby is the same thing as the Terror Lobby. What ever they are called. They aren't racist... They are voting for the Barry Hussein Obama guy. Oh whoops, I used the guys middle name. Another thing that makes me a racist.

I'll only speak to what I know about: TV news.

"Its them against EVERYBODY else." This is such right-wing, "all the liberals are out to ruin our lives" crap.

You know the business world, Steve.

You KNOW this isn't true. You KNOW that TV news is run by TV networks; you KNOW that TV networks are owned by corporations. You KNOW that corporations will do NOTHING (other than making bad decisions) to hurt their bottom line or alienate the consumer. Whereas many that are IN TV network news are "liberals" (mostly because they get to see the sh*t that happens behind the scenes that is not allowed to make it to air) TV network news is not allowed to be ANYTHING (other than the aforementioned FOX) other than non-offensive, non-controversial, and most importantly, NON ALIENATING OF THE AMERICAN CONSUMER.

Period, end of story.

When corporate America feels that there's a buck to be made by being "liberal", they will allow their TV news organizations to be liberal. Until then, it just won't happen. If you don't see the BUSINESS realities of this, you are being blinded by your politics.

You can't possibly believe that when 95% of journalists are hardcore liberal that it doesn't affect the product. I don't care how watered down, sanitized, and scripted the whole network news thing is or isn't. The editors and the producers are liberal. Conservatives do not advance in their careers unless they are the token counterpoint columnist like George Will. The liberals advance. Somehow I find it disconcerting that an overt strategy at one network is somehow more evil than an institutionalized ingrained secret bias at all the others. Next you'll tell me how PBS is neutral.

This campaign is the worst I've ever scene. The gloves are off. W is so bad and so unpopular that its open season on conservatives. Any pretense of non-partisan reporting has evaporated. I just wish people would read the 22nd amendment and realize that W.'s name cannot be on the ballot. I get kinda confused listening to B. Hussein Obama talk and trying to figure out who he is running against.

As opposed to open season on anyone who doesn't agree with conservatives or the war. Fox isn't just slightly biased, they take an antagonistic approach to anyone and everyone that doesn't agree with them.

Plenty of conservatives advance Steve. Maybe not at CNN, although Ted Turner's not very liberal, but at plenty of other media outlets. Bill Rood at the Chicago Tribune, which up until this year, never endorsed a Democrat in more than 100 years of publishing. Then there's the Wall Street Journal, Investor's Business Daily, The Hartford Courant, Orange County Register and all the Freedom owned papers. Just about every paper in this country that's not in a large urban area is conservative in its editorial page tone.

If you can't tell who Obama is running against, maybe that's because McCain, who said so with pride, has voted with W 90% of the time, "more than some of my Republican colleagues," he said.

As for the local Fox story, first off, it's not much of a story. Second the kid's quotes don't sound like how 7th graders talk. Most people, let allow kids, don't use the word "Caucasian."

I've never seen anything on Fox as outright nasty as what occurs every day on MSNBC. And this year that clearly began to spill over to NBC. And the NYT in print??? Hello? Are you awake? You don't really want to have this argument do you? I know... Let's trash Cindy McCain this week.... Oh hey, let's run an old interviewed we did in 2000 with McCain's torturer where he says McCain lied about everything, yet not run the followup stuff that ran in 2000 showing independent verification of McCain's words as well as confirmation of the prison guards lies on many points... We don't need that. Better story is trash John McCain.

What? Biden screws up in the debate... the diner has been closed for 15 years? We didn't say that!!! Call up CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS, FOX that night and have them CHANGE the transcripts. Only Fox refused to change history to erase another Biden blunder. Obviously Fox is biased.

Its endless. I have a life. Not much of one. But arguing the obvious is boring. Just because more people have drank the Obama/Socialist Kool-aide doesn't make it the right side of the debate.

Obama in 2008
Osama in 2009

The NYT story about Cindy McCain was deferential; yeah, she has some "warts" like everyone else. The over-arching thread is that she did not like Washington political society, would rather not take center stage on the campaign trail, but she does whatever it takes to back her husband's ambitions. She admired Princess Diana and would like to emulate her if she becomes first lady. Those are hardly criticisms.

MSNBC? I don't watch their lousy coverage any more than I watch Fox's. Not only have I not heard about Biden's gaff, but I don't care. Debate anecdotes are fluff, of "so little substance as to be a shadow's shadow." The fact is that conservatives who live in the coccoon, ie, the think-tanks, foundations, talk-radio shows and web sites, want you to believe that every media outlet is just like the NYT and MSNBC. They aren't and it's barely relevant to some local Fox affiliate's dodgy story about some school-yard name calling. You seriously need different drugs for your injuries. A bunch of dumb kids say dumb things and now that's some kind of political touchstone?

Yeah, right Obama's going to declare a fatwah on conservatives and convert the U.S. to sharia. Talk about drinking the Kool-aide.

If I were you, I'd be a lot more worried about the U.S. being tarred and feathered at the economic conference the EU is demanding. Nixon isn't around and there isn't equivalent action to be taken akin to floating the dollar on world currency markets. Fort Knox might as well be empty. The EU wants this conference before the end of the year, so W will have to come to grips with the fact that he alienated just about every ally we have or had.

Watch this video all the way through and see what you think about the subprime mess and whether we want Democrats in the White House again.

It was very enlightening to me.

An oversimplified rehash that ignores several important facts about the CRA, and therefore stretches what truth it contains in a poorly executed attempt to focus blame. In other words, it's a completely biased hit-piece.

Take the time to read the entire Wikipedia entry for the CRA that they reference and you'll see the film distorts the truth, ignores changes in the regulations that did take place and ignores significant facts that don't support the contention they attempt to make.

Since you know the truth Bob, how about sharing the details with us gullible conservatives. I've been following this story since the first time I heard of a no down payment loan. In fact, at one time, I remember seeing loans of 120% of appraised value. This is exactly how it went down. You might be able to argue the details, but how can you possibly argue the sentiment. Maybe the republicans should have pushed harder for reform, but the political fallout would have been devastating. The public doesn't want to know the truth. Until it's a crisis, government won't act which is why government fails at such an alarming rate. No fannie, no freddie, no government manipulation of the housing market...........................NO CRISIS.

George, I have no argument with lenders making bad loans, but the entire "forced to make bad loans" isn't in the law. Several changes were made in 2005, one of which favored smaller banks and allowed them to abstain from CR loans.

While I don't consider conservative gullible, if you thought that little film had anything in the way of balance I might have to change my mind. The "sentiment" is that film acts as if the Republicans weren't part and parcel to this mess. Phil Gramm pushed through a change related to the CRA that allowed the merger of banks and insurance companies. Bad idea that was supposed to make everything better by taking away a regulatory hurdle to competition in the financial services industry.

Just because a loan didn't require a 20% down payment doesn't automatically make it sub-prime. Bernanke said last year that it's clear that well-managed portfolios of these loans can be profitable. Since the majority of the loans were made by private lenders, that leaves the all-mighty, all-knowing financial services giants to blame.

Because I promise you, you all are gonna be sitting here a year from now going, 'Oh my God, why are they there in the polls? Why is the polling so down? Why is this thing so tough?' We're gonna have to make some incredibly tough decisions in the first two years. So I'm asking you now, I'm asking you now, be prepared to stick with us. Remember the faith you had at this point because you're going to have to reinforce us."

"There are gonna be a lot of you who want to go, 'Whoa, wait a minute, yo, whoa, whoa, I don't know about that decision'," Biden continued. "Because if you think the decision is sound when they're made, which I believe you will when they're made, they're not likely to be as popular as they are sound. Because if they're popular, they're probably not sound."
someone should tell Biden that the general public has an attention span of 6 months at best. This economic crisis we're under will be forgotten as soon as egg prices start dropping again.

I'm just amazed he told the truth - you're not supposed to tell the American public the truth, "because you can't handle the truth!"

What's funny is that everyone is bashing Bush (and have been for 8 years) but look at the alternatives we had to choose from! Gore? Kerry? C'mon guys. Bush was the lesser of two incompetents in 2000 and 2004. I'm amazed at the lack of introspection on the part of the Democrats for their nomination of buffoons as Presidential candidates. The best that the Democrats have been able to get elected is Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Geez!

Finally the Democrats have nominated someone that appears competent (but lacks the experience to prove it). Unfortunately, they are doing their level best right now to screw that up. Flying John Kerry's name as a potential Secretary of State in the Obama administration might just kill my vote for the Democratic ticket. These guys are going to screw up the biggest sure thing in 40 years of elections. Fools!

it would be nice to know who the nominees intend to appoint to their cabinet upon confirmation.

I know there's a lot of anti-clinton people here, but he did right by my book on his appointees. bush, OTOH, should have his picture pasted next to the dictionary for cronieism.

John McCain is the Manchurian Candidate.
Barry Obama is Nicolae Jetty Carpathia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicolae_Carpathia" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

The scary thing about Obama is that if I'm right about him, there is nothing to stop him or save him from himself except Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. The Democrats will impale themselves on their own swords. But they'll do it AFTER the election. When we're stuck.

The Calipha thing is obviously a joke. I've been quite clear that I consider Obama to be an atheist who looks down on all religions with contempt.

But Obama has never spent anytime serving in an office. He's campaigned his ENTIRE political career. I do not expect him to stop with President of the United States of America. I would expect there to be at least an attempt at Obama as a Global ruler. And he'll toss the US under a bus to achieve that end. That..... I am stupid enough and drugged enough to actually believe.
