Coned away a first place finish in class, but 2nd isn't too bad for my first points event with the car.

Missed a lot of crucial elements on this course. Car had an easy high 64 low 65 on the 130+ run RE71R. It was a fun, fast, challenging course!

Big THANKS to the afternoon X-Runners that forfeited their runs to help make sure that the afternoon competitors got all their runs in during daylight hours !

Robert just turned 12 so we elected to move him up to JA instead of one more season in JB.
So, proud of him taking his first JA win on the last lap. 64.1xx

And dad ran too... It's going to be a long painful season after having a little success last year. Not feeling the love. Won't be long before we take this car up in the hills and load it full of tannerite.
We'll still come out til Robert tires of karts. Or we'll head across the street and let him audition for Kart Life.
Watch the suckatude here. STS Fableu! Civie 65.0xx Paxed 32nd, 5th in class.....

As one of the people that was able to get a gloriously fun 4th run in the 4th heat I appreciate the people who forfeited their x runs. I just wish I was able to record it. Anyway here is my second run.

First time using the new Garmin Virb XE with OBDII data relay. Unfortunately forgot to sync it back when I turned off the camera so a couple have full data and a couple don't. Big thanks to Kurt Ressler for letting me drive his Porsche on race tires. It was super fun despite my dirty dirty driving. Enjoy!
Me - Run 2 - 60.9xx+1 - this is the fastest run of mine that has full data.

Me - Run 3 - 60.3xx+1 - this is my fastest run, only gps data no car data

Kurt - Run 2 - 61.6xx clean - his fastest run, only gps data

Mike Oest - Run 1 - 60.788+1 - unfortunately the only full run we got because the battery ran out. Turns out running Bluetooth and wireless kills the battery on these things. But it does have car data

New Bridgestone RE71R tires produced a miracle. This was my best autocross performance in years! Finished 1st in B Street and 26th out of 182 drivers in PAX.

I concur! Took a gamble on the Dunlops two days before the Bridestone release based upon the prior Gen for each tire. I was 2-4 sec off pace all last year. Stood on my very 1st run, with rubber nubs still covering tires, 2nd in class by thousands, 10th Paxed overall. I still had time out there, I just kept turning into cones w/ the new grip.
All I can say is WOW!
