Hey All, my Civic Si that I run in H-Street is due for front control arm bushings. Those RE71R are car killers ;) Anywho, I figured if I have to go through the trouble of having bushings pressed in/out, I may as well go polyurethane vs. OE rubber so I only have to do it once ever. The poly bushings do not have "more/less metal" than the OE items, and do not change the alignment or particularly benefit me (i.e. cheating) in any way other than not having to mess with them ever again.

Here are the items in question:

Trying to interpret the rule book here and having a bit of trouble. Would these be Street class legal?

13.8.C Suspension bushings, including but not limited to those which carry the weight of the vehicle and determine ride height, may not be replaced with bushings of a different material or dimension.

Yeah sorry, no can do in street category.
Consider yourself lucky if you are able to get just a replacement OE bushing. Most of the time in Stock/Street the answer to worn out control arem bushings is new control arms... :(
