Usually when there is a conflict between CalClub and SDR I go to SDR because in CalClub I'm often the only car in my class (CAMT) but in SDR I can race against 12-16 CAMT friends consistently. But I had such a great time at the CalClub practice on Saturday, nothing beats dropping time throughout the day. I had all but given up on a 69.X run but on my last run managed to improve over a second to bang out a 69.8x. So riding on that high, I suddenly thought it would be a good idea to attend events at both clubs (at this point I decided I was a maniacal genius lol). I just needed a little help from CalClub (switch work assignments) and the SDR club (late checkin & tech) to make it happen which thankfully both clubs accommodated my requests (Thanks Maggie!). Arriving late I barely made it to grid in time and had to drive with no course walk but I managed to win against 13 competitors! This is also the first time I've beaten the SDR CAMT points leader in a long time so it was a very exciting victory for me!

Heres my best from my helmet cam. I'm that crazy guy racing a Camry in STS. This was my first time out on proper race tires so my confidence in them was at best 45%. I'll be at the Practice at the end of the month to get that closer to 100%. Sadly, I will not be able to do Sunday as I fly out Saturday to Oregon right after practice. Constructive criticism is welcome as I'm currently chasing my buddy in his Miata in Novice . Hope to see everyone around!

Hi guys, this was my first autocross event ever and first time shooting at an autocross event, and i had a lot of fun! I want to thank the instructor for helping me out with my first 3 runs giving me tips and advices, so sorry i forgot your name though.
