California Gone Mad...

US jobs report sucked... 6.5% though some feared it would be worse.
California is a full point higher at 7.7% unemployed. That number is far from historic, but the serious job cutting is just starting.
So, we're lagging a nation in the midst of a recession. We have a budget crisis, a housing crisis, and a jobs crisis that all feed off each other. The solution is to raise taxes and fees everywhere. Car tax, use tax, sales tax, income tax, corporate taxes...
Hit the consumer and the employers both as hard as you can... While making the state a refuge for millions of illegal aliens.
And then watch as the voters approve extra spending on ridiculous projects.
Hopeless....

I read the consensus was 6.3%; the Sept. figured was revised from 159k to 284k. Total for the year is 1.2 million. Goldman Sachs says the economy will shrink 3.5% in Q4 and 2% in Q1. An early 1980s recession is at hand, according to their economists.
Nothing drives retail sales like a 10.25% sales tax.

state of california=fail. nothing says efficiency like spending millions of dollars to build a train to San Francisco when our unemployment rate is steadily rising and having billions of dollars of debt.

Doesn't matter...We're still the best state in the union. The rest of the country may say they think we're a bunch of fruits, but they are just jealous.

Yeah, everything feels great while you're living large on the credit card! Reality hits eventually.
