So, I was hoping to finally make it out and run again, but discovered that every weld on my header has cracked, and the lifetime warranty doesnt cover it. Still trying to find a replacement, but wondering if anyone knows who could weld all the cracks (literally every joint on it) at a fair price.
Thanks

Don't have an answer for you, but whoever does the work, make sure they back gas the welds otherwise you're gonna end up with some nasty sugaring.

I used Ace Muffler on 1st street in Santa Ana for the stainless headers and exhaust systems on both Mustangs.
Its been a couple of years with no problems. Talk to Jose.

What other failure modes are there for a header?!?Chris Hofmann wrote: weld on my header has cracked, and the lifetime warranty doesnt cover it.
There's another ACE muffer here in Westminster that's done some resonably priced cat back work for me. I can't specifically attest to their header or stainless work though.

Not sure if they do stainless, but they may be close to you. They did some work on my racing Miata. The owner raced Sprint cars - or Midgets, so he has racing sensitivity.

$hitty design aka 90% of Miata headers.

Cool. Thanks for the replies. I will have to hit some of these places up this week, want to get this exhaust fixed so I can try and sell it.
