Hello,
Looking for info on the event, it's looks fun and I want to enter.
I'm a little confused, is it open to all classes or is it CAM only?
My car is SS (I'm running in NOV this year), but I was thinking I could enter in CAM-C, but the problem I see
my car is a 2 seater(Mustang GT350R), Ford removed the back seat to save weight.
So that would put me in CAM-S, those are 2 seaters, and a lot lighter?
Or could I add rear seats/belts and run in CAM-C?
Here's a link to the event https://www.scca.com/pages/match-tour
Thanks,
Paul

Match tour is open to all classes. CAM Challenge is open only to the CAM cars. The class you select will dictate which event you are a part of. The main difference is on Sunday when they have the eliminations bracket. CAM gets its own bracket.
I'm not 100% sure but I would think the GT350R is allowed to run in CAM-C. It depends on how you interpret

Notice it says originally. So adding a back seat won't qualify you. There are a number of CAM-C and CAM-T cars that have removed their back seats. Given that the Mustang body style is originally a 4 seat car it seems like the GT350R would fit. If you want an official word I would email Doug Gill dgill@scca.comSedans/coupes with seating originally for 4 or more adults

Just heard from Doug.
"Hi Paul,
You can run CAM-C.
The rule is referring to the design of the body shell, not literally how many seats were installed.
The GT350R was originally a Mustang with seating for 4 or more adults. It’s to keep the Corvette and Cobra in CAM-S.
Hope this helps. I’ll be glad to discuss this further.
