Dancing Girls and lecherous old men.

Post by Steve Ekstrand »

Its about time!

I've been waiting for dancing girls at an autocross for a long time.

}:)

So far I've had to settle for making Ashley run to cones. Come to think it of it, that was pretty entertaining, but watching it in the rear view mirror screwed up my downhill speed in the last section.

Ah, the truth comes out. I KNEW that apology was all for show!

George did the same thing but was way less subtle about it. He just straight turned around and looked behind him! }:)

Man, by the 5th reply the topic has gone horribly wrong. :o

I wonder what the average is here?

# of pertinent replies before topic derailment would be an awesome statistic!

However, coming back to sobering reality, this could be very useful information for this forum!

Just think of the possibilties!

With a few carefully checked statistics on the speed of departure from the topic, one could potentially program the forum topics such that, giving an extra reply or two, such that the remainder of the replies could simply be shuffled off to "Off Topic".....thus keeping the initial topic more or less pure and clean! ;)

Hmmm, speaking of off topic, back to the beer.....Steve and evil twin brother Steve from the apartment here were going to meet at the pool by two!

Thank God for Steve and Ashley. I've been away from the computer for the past 28 hours and 32 minutes. It's good to know I have sufficient back up in derailing perfectly good, on topic threads

I was thinking swimming, but my friend showed up with wine and we stayed inside instead :)

I play a terrible game of pool.

PSCC holds the CSCC Solo rights to any wet t-shirt contests as the originators of the concept for our Sept. 2006 event. Sadly that event was cancelled when the only participants signed up were Whitehead, Ekstrand and myself. Anyway, we expect any and all royalties paid in cash or Rhino chips...

As far as a bikini contest, I can win that:

Yeah, I just bet! You'll be required to stay out of my line of sight and two arms' lengths away. That way I can scratch without embarrassment, just my usual excuse of being mediocre. :D

As for swimming, well I could probably make it to shore from any boat in most of the local marinas; other than that, I avoid open water.

We're in negotiations with Curt right now to deal with some <cough> issues<cough> and we have yet to secure ancillary rights as well as overseas residuals for all equity members. If we could increase the front end loading of the deal while reducing the back end liabilities, something could be worked out by mid-week. But as usual, the Teamsters are being a bit "stubborn." They drew my attention to Universal City today for some reason. I really wish they wouldn't call so late at night. We have a good above-the-line team and the below-the-line folks are still asking for a rider on the standard deal memo. My people and theirs are having lunch at Morton's tomorrow.

So we might be there, we'll see.
