Re: NO$ Practice List

well I wouldnt blame that person, the new system works well actually. We have lives outside of solo2. The link at the bottom HAS been there from the start regardless if the flyer being "tentative" or "incomplete flyer" and the link had everything correct... Yes, the axware stuff...

Thanks for trying Yuki. Whoever decided to move everthing over to the AXWARE and abandon Solo2.com clearly hasn't worked out some of the details yet.

Re: NO$ Practice List

We haven't used that feature since resetting the run-groups this year. The built in system that Will programmed won't work with the split open/ladies system we're now using. Each event has been a link to the pdf like Rick already posted in the other thread. Then someone should update the darned sol...

Might want to consider posting it on the event list at solo2.com at some point. Some folks don't read the message board that often.

Re: 2009 Lone Pine Time Trials

Well, this is the last weekend of my show ( http://tacit.caltech.edu/shows.shtml" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) and I was planning on doing Lone Pine, but sounds like the new rules DQ me.

Bummer.

for components: http://digikey.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Another option would be to get a cig-plug 9v adapter and plastic box at ratshack, take the adapter apart, mount the guts in the plastic box with RTV or hot glue, and hardwire it between your fuse box your vi...

Re: Flying Miata Shock Mounts for Koni shocks

Might be interested. I have a 92.
Couple questions:
Are the those spherical bearings in the top, or do they have an elastomeric part?
What diam is the hole? Think they will fit Koni Sport shocks?

I acknowledge Mako's dibs.

Re: electronic savy people needed

alright, install went smooth, no hiccups. next question: is it possible to hook up one of those x-10 cameras to a car battery? i found the old one i had for motorcycle, but it was powered off a 9v (which i don't have the adaptor for anymore anyways). the camera uses 8v, 80ma. You could use somethin...

But doesn't a "no return" style system make your cold-water hot? So you trade waiting on hot-water for waiting on cold-water?

How do I make it stop? Easy Steve, just don't read 'em. I know it's not the same as eliminating them altogether but it's really quite simple to ignore them. The difference is we now have moderators on that forum. Personal insults and profanity are not allowed. Mike Ouch. Fair enough. I'll see you g...

It was voted on at the meeting this week to have it back open in the "new topics" but with Moderators of the PP (chairman, vice-chairman, and treasurer). Because to play }:) 's advocate, if we "hide" PP topics, we'd have to hide EVERY "Off-topic". It's free speech Stev...

Re: Forum feature request

Art, I am not proposing that we cut off or ban the political discussion. That has it's own cost. In my experience, doing that leads to endless discussion about whether topic X or reply Y was appropriate for the board. Folks seem to have been pretty good about keeping their rants in the designated fo...

For the forum programming masters: I would find it useful to have a feature on the forum that works just like "active_topics" named search but omits the "political paddock". I use active_topics ( http://forums.solo2.com/search.php?search_id=active_topics" onclick="windo...

Re: STS Miata Setup Question

When I was first setting up my car, I found there were substantial balance changes with alignment (specifically the front/rear toe settings). You might want to try a systematic set of experiments at a practice sometime. The front is especially easy since you can adjust toe at a tie-rod end. As Marsh...

Re: Explain This ... Photo

Oddly, both sides of the break are hard to image adequately under 30x magnification. Perhaps because the depth of field becomes tiny when using a macro lens. If that's the problem, one solution might be more light and a smaller aperature. Another would be to use a camera that can change the orienta...
