WTB: BMW E36 Front bumper rub strip parts

Looking for two pieces of the rub strip for for a friends '97 328. I need the license plate section and the small strip on the passenger side that covers the two hook attachment. See pics. Given the number of these cars morphing into racecars, I figured someone here might have something laying around.

Re: FS: Toyo RA-1 Tires 225/50R16

Ok. As long as there are no cracks, I'll take them.

I'll probably be able to pick up after 12pm in Torrance in an effort to miss traffic but will call you tomorrow to confirm time.

Thanks,
David

What are the date codes and are you available tomorrow during the day for me to pick them up?

Thanks

Re: FS: Toyo RA-1 Tires 225/50R16

Tin,

I'm interested in the Toyos. Are there any track miles on them, or just "show" miles?

Also, where in SoCal are they?

Thanks,
David

Re: FS: '07 Chevy Tahoe LT3

Tom, thanks for the experienced input. Mako, If this might be a fit for Karen but she is unsure about towing, we could always hook up her rig and try it out. We could even log some miles and track MPG using the on-board computer. Thanks to all... A few more pics Tahoe For Sale 038 rennlist.jpg Tahoe...

Thanks Tom! Yes, I'm as "OCD" as ever. :) Did I mention how well this will tow a racecar? Just imagine driving home from the events in quiet, air conditioned bliss with the Bose stereo playing your favorite tunes! ;) Here's a few more pics Tahoe For Sale 043 rennlist.jpg Tahoe For Sale 030...

Re: Cornerweight Questions for the Experts

Thanks for the tips and reality check guys. I left it alone and the car worked very well. MUCH better than before. :)

The skewed ride height is also bothering me less. Maybe I will be able to leave it alone until I can get it on the scales again.

Re: Cornerweight Questions for the Experts

Glad to see you are not going to mess with the alignment... You need the time to polish your gold chain. You must have me confused with one of your plastic car brethren. You'll never catch me with gold chains - they add weight and cost money that could be spent on better things like sticky ti...

Re: Cornerweight Questions for the Experts

i'd re-level it. I'd put it back on the scales though too. If you can't put it back on the scales then leave it as is. Interesting side note, if you start with a car that is level (or really left and right at equal heights across an axle), perfect corner weights are only a turn or so way. Marshall ...

Re: Cornerweight Questions for the Experts

Thanks. I should clarify... My car uses and old fashioned horse and buggy torsion bar setup, rather than coilovers. So I have simple adjustment screws to change ride height. In my case, motion ratio calcs would be complicated, so my method for re-adjusting would be to measure the chassis height at f...

Cornerweight Questions for the Experts

I'm trying to make sure I have my head around this and have not missed an important nuance before touching the car... I corner balanced the 911 last week and we achieved very favorable weights at all four corners (50.1% cross and front corners within 25lbs). However, when going back to double check ...

Ah, those were good times. I'm pretty sure my CSP Miata got a new paint job after that event.

(Although it could have been one of the earlier years as the tri-oval was definitely involved!)
