Running El Toro Tomorrow?

Post by PatMcSwain »

We have 2 drivers:

Pat McSwain - SCCA Member.
Robert Miller - non-SCCA Member. Experienced racer.

We have 2 cars available:

2013 Chevy Volt. Bone stock.
2009 Cadillac CTS-V. Bone stock.

Is there a way to run both drivers and cars in the AM?

STx is OK. SM is OK. Illegal class entry (under-rated) is OK.

We would both race and work.

CTS-V can run in either S1 or CAM in the morning, not sure where the Volt would fall though. My guess would be it would be OK, as long as you get OK's from others in the class, and talk to the event chair.

The Volt is normally HS or STF (FWD modified)

What is S1 or CAM?

I don't see them in the book?

S1 is a combined Street class that includes SS, AS, BS, & FS. CAM stands for Classic American Muscle, and includes all front engine-rear drive American made cars over 3000 lbs on street tires.
