Re: Presenting Your SCNAX Cup 2014 Teams!
Did we have any AWD or RWD single drivers looking for a team. Tadd bailed on us today and last night I found out Sheldon's 335 F Street morphed into a H Street 2015 Mini Cooper.
So two FWD's.... Mini Coopers do well in H-Street. And of course, lil blue is one of the best prepped STC cars in the country.
Come drive with the Ekstrand Brothers.... PLEASE!!!!

I know SCNAX II (two) exceeded ten teams, going out on a limb here... but this may be the most SCNAX teams ever!

Re: Presenting Your SCNAX Cup 2014 Teams!
Saw the note regarding not being sure what to give a team pax for team #8 (Wat).
It's been a few years... while seeing a team avg is interesting... I don't think it's actually used for anything.
As I recall (from running the excel spreadsheet years ago) when running your own car, you use your personal pax straight up in your own car. When driving one of your teammates cars you use a modified pax (your pax * class pax/2) Your not expected to be able to drive another car as well as you drive your own, but better drivers are expected to be better than lesser drivers. Because of this pax multiplication on teammates cars... the team pax would never come into play,,, as you personally have the potential of three different paxes driving the three different classed cars.
I would normally suggest assigning the non-event history participants a pax equal to the highest pax... but with Tom's 1.0 ... (unless one of them has professional racing experience) maybe the next highest personal pax would be appropriate.

Hey, team Leader for Project WAT here.
A couple things.
First, numbers
We'd like to use 77
Oscar: 77
Kevin: 177
Justin: 277
Second,
As far as setting a base pax for the 2 drivers with no prior experience. I'd just like to point out that Justin has only ever done 1 track event (Streets of Willow CW with a time, if I remember correctly, about 1:39). And Kevin has done no events before.
Also kind of confused how my personal pax is. .905 if you wouldn't mind explaining. I know STC's (the class I run) pax is around .82-.86(?) and I've never even come close to first haha

Just for a frame of reference, I've done at 1:36 at streets. And FTD was something like 1:19 in a modified time attack z06Oscar Gargiulo wrote:

Re: Presenting Your SCNAX Cup 2014 Teams!
Oscar your drivers PAX is based on your results in the last three events. Your teammates have been penalized for not having anything to base them on, any index we use will be unfair to them, But I think .950 should be the drivers handicap for no event drivers, difficult but if one of them is an alien you might still have a chance.Oscar Gargiulo wrote:Hey, team Leader for Project WAT here.

Doesn't make any sense to me Craig. Your individual pax is top paxed time divided by your paxed time averaged across three events. We are comparing paxed times. The driver index is applied to your paxed time in the car so theoretically your car and Tom Berry's are equaled out and you and Tom Berry are equaled out. Sorry, I had to lol. I came up with a driver pax for Hi Ly of .911. Tell me that isn't funny! And our team pax goes from .877 to .899. I can't see the value of the team pax unless you want to apply the average driver pax (team pax) at the end so its easy to see "gross and net" as it were for the team totals. Either way comes up with the same results in the end. I think.

How will the team pax apply? Will our runs be paxed by our individual runs, then our combined times paxed by team pax? I'm confused
