WTB Used Hankook RS3 2 or 4

Post by samuelbrownfield »

Looking for size 195/50/15, I didn't water my tires last event and over heated the shoulders.

2 are shredded and am looking for cheap (and currently avail) replacements, so I can get back at it, with a water sprayer.

Thanks!

I have a pair of 225/45/15 (version 1) with a good amount of tread left. I can sell them for $100 if you're interested. I still would have dismount them so let me know!

Duane thanks for the reply! I'm running 15x6 BBS, so a 225 might be a little much, and since I'm ES my rear has more roll than my front, so I think I would end up pushing all over the place with 225s on the back. Tempting though, I wonder if it would work?

That would be pushing it on a 6" wide rim. It's your call! Email me if you any questions or for a faster response.

225's Street tires on a on a 6" wide wheel, NP!

Years ago, the setup to have on 1st Gen CRX's & equivalent years Civics in Stock class were 225/45/14's Hoosiers on 14x5" (required) stock rims.

I'd be more worried about 225 in back with stock roll bar and 195 in front with racing beat... Would be worried I'd created an understeer monster! Might be interesting to try...
