Looking for a co-drive for SD NT and El Toro

Post by Reijo Silvennoinen »

One of my local friends, David Grey, is going to attend the San Diego Tour and El Toro Pro. He wishes to fly in and co-drive with someone. He has competed locally for a while, an engineer by training and mid-aged ... drives a Miata, Civic and a Mustang and has already entered in E-Street (just to sign up). His daughter is also signed up for BSP and will be co-driving with Tim and I in Guy's former S2000.

If anyone has a ride they would like to share, please drop him a note via email to discuss terms: David Gray <fdgray@shaw.ca>.

I can vouch for him and believe you will find him a decent fellow and easy to work with.

Quoting Dave: "I have booked everything and registered both of us for San Diego for March 19-23. We are flying down Thursday night, the 19th, and getting in around midnight and flying out on Monday the 23rd. ... I did what you said and just registered Ashley for BSP Ladies and me for E Street, with the expectation that might change. Can you find me a ride? I will drive whatever, and I don't care if I am in a competitive car."

However, I will add that a competitive car would be a good thing, no? :)

It looks like there may be as many as 6 of us coming down from Calgary! :)

Thanks!

Bump.

Anyone?

I'm sure reasonable terms can be agreed to.

We are still looking for some co-drive for David at San Diego and at El Toro ... anyone? Anything? I'm hoping David will get on here and introduce himself so you have a better idea of who he is etc. He is a normal guy - middle-aged, decent driver and I have never seen him abuse or break anything on his 1st gen MR2, Mustang or Miata and he is not looking for anything special to co-drive. So if you could use a tire warmer ... someone to chip some bucks and help out, etc. ... David would be a good choice and I have no problem vouching for him.

David, want to cut in here and introduce yourself?
