Event Recycling

Post by Stacey Christopher »

Thank you for recycling this past weekend! We were able to raise $14.63 to help Beatrice's (the Boston Terrier) dad with her expensive medical bills. Considering that it was FREEZING this weekend at AAA, I think that we did pretty well! Hopefully it will be much warmer at our next event in three weeks at El Toro, so that we will have lots more cans and bottles to recycle. Please look for the recycle (plastic) cans near the large trash bins. Also, I will try to have plenty of extra trash bags, if anyone wants to have a bag to collect recycling in their paddock area.

By the way, Beatrice did pass away Saturday night. Her poor little body is now at rest. Please remember her daddy Mark in your thoughts and prayers. Also, we will round this amount up to $20 and send to his vet office this week. Thanks again and let's raise even more next time!!! Every little amount helps when we all work together!!!!

Blessings!

Thanks again to everyone who supported the recycling collection this past weekend. This time we were able to collect $21.69, which will be rounded up to $25. It will be sent to the same place as last month.

July's recycling total: $35.65
Way to go autocrossers!

July's and August's combined collections will benefit a local South Bay charity, Love Inc. Specifically, we will be purchasing school supplies for low income families. These supplies will be donated to our church's collection, who donates them to Love Inc., who then donates them to low income families across the South Bay area.

If you would like to personally participate in this collection event, please see the flyer that I posted to Cal Club Solo Autocross' Facebook page or visit loveincsb.org for more information.

Thanks again for everyone's help!
