Photos from Japan

Post by Tin Bui »

Hi Everyone!

I'm posting from Japan. On a 3 month business trip here. I've posted some photos online and wanted to share: http://public.fotki.com/Kaizen81/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I'm actually going to the Japan F1 Grand Prix this weekend. Bought a new video camera just for that. Then first week of November I will go to Motegi to watch an endurance race.

Will be back AX next year.

Just got back from the race! That is soo exciting in person! The acceleration is soo amazing and the sound! I was at the hairpin between the 100R and 300R.

Pics and video to come. They aren't so great because my point and shoot cam sucks and i don't have steady hands with the video camera.

To answer your question Mako, as with any other country, they root for their countryman, but he isn't the fan favorite. I typically see Alonso's or Raikonen's face on advertisements. Lots of people were still wearing Super Aguri.

I was rootin for Glock but he messed up after the hairpin and flew over the curbs.

Amazing experience once again. Will most likely plan a trip for next year. Also looking at getting a shifter kart!
