But alas.... Not the ACR model.

The head of Mopar Performance has wanted to buy my Road Runner for years... Its not for sale at any price.

But you know...

Maybe a trade...

A Viper ACR
A Challeger 6.1L Drag Pack Car
A Jeep SRT-8
A Maybach

in exchange for my "old Plymouth".

Kia Rondo???? BAH! not a fun drive.

now the Hyundai Genesis Coupe is. The Brembo brakes are nice, I noticed no fade. I don't like the 19" wheels and the tires are a bit too narrow for my tastes. The 6at isn't bad. Pretty strong shifts. It has a nice sporty ride but will still jarr you on big bumps. There is quite a bit of room in the drivers area but you still get the cockpit feeling. The powersteering is fairly quick and requires some effort, but it still gives decent feedback. Now if it only came with the V-8 the Genesis sedan has *drool*.
But you didn't hear any of that from me. ;)

Just wrapped up Day 2 of the annual Motor Press Guild Track Days. Held this year at Fontucky.

Outside of the Audi R8, which is damn close to perfect, the Evo was the best car on the track, a common opinion. Did not get into the Exige S, another car with a line of those waiting. Drove several cars on track and several vehicles on the street. Hope to launch my own site soon and write it all up. :computer:

Yeah, I've heard the new Evo MR is amazing. Similar to the GT-R, the electronics supposedly make it do things that are almost inconceivable, handling-wise.

BTW, you're a lucky bastard, Bob!

But an unpaid lucky bastard. :(

BTW, those who might be in the market for a luxury sedan and weighing the Jaguar XF vs. the Infiniti M45 S should ask themselves whether a genteel and very quick car is more desirable than a well-planted and very quick car. Jag 0, Infiniti 1. And the Jag is marred by Ford parts-bin switch gear. Why anyone in Dearborn thinks the turn signal stalk should point to 10 o'clock is beyond stupid.

Or, if you want to spend just over half, Hyundai Genesis V-8 or the somewhat smaller, but amazing Volkswagen CC with the VR6 and 4Motion. Compliant ride, great handling, DSG, sleek styling; a poor man's CLS.

And, finally, the concept Tundra SR5 with the TRD Supercharger made me ask, "SVT Lightening what?" 500 hp, 550 lb-ft of torque.

I'll agree with that statement. I was really surprised by the Genesis. I've only spent one day in the sedan to date, but I really liked it.
