But alas, most Obama supporters don't know who this man is and don't seem to care. While admittedly our system is far from perfect, it's certainly the only system where many can rise from poverty to a position of wealth and certainly better than a system of throwing crumbs to the masses. I wonder what the reaction will be when people realize who they have voted for? Who'd a thunk it. And yet here we are. Is there still a chance? Maybe. He's not a terrorist, he's not directly tied to terrorists, there's no conspiracy going on here, and the world as we know it will not end when (if?) Obama is elected in. BTW, let me point out that I'm a registered republican and have been since I was 18. Voted for Reagan, HW and W (the first time, and in retrospect, the worst voting decision I've made). On the one hand we have an old man that lives by a code of honor rarely seen in politics today. He can hardly be classified as a right winger. Most Republicans are again holding their noses on this one. But, he had been honest and forthright about his views. On the other hand we have Obama, who at the very least is a fraud and a blatant liar, who has done everything possible to hide his background and his agenda. In fact his agenda has changed dramatically during the long campaign. This guy is extreme even by Democrat standards. He is now joking in his stump speeches about being called a socialist. But that label is quite accurate.

Obama's election will be a foreign policy nightmare. This guy is not a terrorist, but his closest friends are terrorists, terrorist sympathizers and racists. These are not family members. These are people he has chosen to hang with. Don't we choose as our friends people who basically think as we do. This is why he has continually had to lie about who his friends are.

B.S. His campaign turned dirty at the convention and has stayed that way. He himself might present a more measured front at rallies, but his running mate stands by while members of the crowd shout "Kill him!" in reference to the lead opponent. Someone with a code of honor that's worth a s--- wouldn't allow that to happen.

I guess Peggy Noonan and Bill Fromme are just too dumb to see the sweetness and light of the McCain-Palin campaign.

The Secret Service investigated this and didn't find anything to the story. Another rumor. Also, Pew compared Obama and McCain's campaigns earlier this month and found both to be equally negative. Ive already voted (for Obama) but I'm still pretty disgusted with the overall Obama bias in the media and how they've savaged McCain and Palin (another Pew study corroborates this). That's not Obama's fault and I don't blame him for taking advantage of the weasels in the MSM.

It's the only television outlet pro-McCain. Even though it is the highest rated cable news network, I can't image it being more that 1% of total viewership.

I feel like I'm spitting into the wind here. Try to see the big picture. Policies Obama has said he wants to enact have failed everywhere they have been tried. You think our financial crisis is bad, take a look at Europe where they are finally realizing their generous social systems can no longer be sustained. This is the left's model. When all this news of a financial crisis broke a few weeks ago, people all over the world rushed to put their money in a safe haven. It wasn't gold. It was the US dollar. Why? Because, despite it's problems, we still have the best financial system in the world. If Obama does what he says he will do, he will effectively destroy that system. Is no one here worried about Iran and nuclear arms? Obama, a man who has accomplish absolutely nothing in his life (he didn't even write his own books it turns out), is going to go to Iran, give a speech, flash his smile, wiggle his ears, and all will be OK. Geez.

I've been watching political campaigns for 40 years, and this one is beyond the pale. Once GOP nastiness started at the convention, the DNC started in. Why? Because those who have tried to take the high road in this country and not respond to attack ads have lost just about every time out. I've been talking to Bob a LOT offline. And I told him I don't like Republican pundits. I hate Rush, Coulter, Hannity, Savage, etc... I find Dick Morris very interesting. I find David Gergen very interesting. Both were Clinton staffers. Morris of course, probably needs physical protection from Clintonistas.

Obama and especially Obama sitting with Pelosi and Reid led supermajorities, is very scary to me. McCain isn't scary. And gov't would be very liberal with either McCain or Palin. No way around veto proof Democratic control. But at least you'd have McCain picking moderate enough justices that the dems would be pressured to approve. With Obama, there is no need for restraint. He could make William Ayers a justice (not saying he would). But there are plenty of dangerous activist jurists he certainly would consider.

Change isn't a bad thing. I'm no where near as conservative as George the Plumber. Or the MooseLady. But unrestrained wholesale change in too big of a hurry because you know this is your parties big shot, is really troubling.

Ann Coulter says a lot of things. Most of it is designed to enhance her media exposure. If Ms. Coulter had the balls to call me a traitor to my face, I'd probably smack her. You might be wrong on that one Steve. Are you for legalization of drugs? Choice until an age of viability? Legalizing prostitution? These are my views.
