launch ramp?

Post by Jeff Shyu »

has anyone gone south on 710 between 105 and 91 recently?

what's with the road work there? there's a series of 4? areas (all the way across the freeway) where the road literally just falls away. you have a smooth landing and all that, but i swear at 85 mph, it feels like i'm about to take off.

ehh.. i was far from the fastest guy on the freeway at that point. 85 was a few MPH slower than the giant SUVs flying down the road around me.

i think i was the only n00b that didn't know about these ramps though, because i was the only one that didn't hit the brakes..

after the first 1, i caught on and started slowing down a bit, but even at 70, it feels like the bottom's dropping out from under the car.
