Our 1st Event, Thanks All

Post by Daryl Slawnikowski »

Thanks to all (Especially, Registration, Doug Teulie, Steve Glusman and the rest of the Historic gang, plus our two instructors, forgot names, Please feedback.) that helped both my son (#625) and I (#622) in our first ever SCCA solo event. We had a blast! We will be signing up with the Pacific Sports Car Club (PSCC).
We’re hoping to have both our 79 Scirroco’s running for the Nov 28, 30 events. By the way that DNF is because my son told me to push it on the last run, that my story and I’m sticking to it!

I was the one who instructed Ozzie - he was a sheer joy to teach and picked up on the concepts pretty quickly!

Leonard,

Jackie Johnson would be a "sheer joy" to instruct, or perhaps Eva Longoria or whatever tickles your fancy. As marvelous a chap as Ozzie may be, where do you go from 'sheer joy", there must be better than Ozzie (see examples above)!

Ok - I'll shut up now, and welcome Scirroco people

Had he chosen No$ and I said the same thing would you have still said to be "non-partial"? :)

Glad I could help Welcome to HISTORIC and the club. I think you'll find it more and more fun as you learn from the veteran club members. I learn stuff every time I come out -- not that it shows!

Is that Rocco a special edition?
I'm totally digging that '80s Aqua-Net rocker panel graphic!
