This Saturday, November 15th.

So far we have:

Me
Bill
Doug
Steve G
Tom Dobyns
Mike S - maybe

We need to get there 6:20 - 6:30am. There is trailer parking in the top right hand portion of the map Doug posted above. We thought we had a banner secured, but somehow that got mixed up. However, I believe Steve is printing out flyers/brochures?

Unfortunately, I'm out. I just checked the schedule, and my daughter's soccer game starts at 8 a.m. and I'm filling for the coach. It sounds like a lot of fun, though, so let me know if you guys do it another time!

I think we need a Mere Mortals car there too. Anybody care to show up in a Civic, Jetta or some other "normal" car?

how important is cost vs. potential membership? may be nice for the brochure / flyers to be good for something like 5 bucks off entry fee, or something like that. just added enticement.

We were hoping to use Kurts car for that. I've got my stock RX8 to demonstrate stock sports cars. I had thought about stickering it up but will probably not do that just to keep it looking like an everyday sport car.

The Lutheran Civic would be nice. It was discussed briefly on Sunday. Curt - any thoughts on your weekend plans?

I think that was my role: if some schmoe can autocross that POS, you can autocross anything. If you guys decide to do it again, I should be able to do it...only one more week of soccer and no more football WOO HOO!! Ain't having kids fun!

i can't imagine it being street legal.. though you never know.

there's a lot of kit cars out there though. aaron was always partial to a GT40, and I wanted a 917.. in Gulf colors..

edit, there *was* 1 or 2 legit 917's at _____ (something) bros Porsche swap meet in anaheim quite a few years ago. i wonder if that event is still happening.

YES it is. It is a Kit built just like the real 917. The motor is just some Porsche 911 motor crap......
This is what you see at this thing. No joke. GT40s, real Gullwings, Lambos, and other major car art.

It would be nice to have Max's STI there ... I'll ask the buyer if he could possibly show up. Or Pete's newer model?

I have made up a handout with a collage of photos on one side and a decription of the club etc on the other. Each side sports our web address. I did borrow photos from our club members, so thanks in advance. See you Saturday -- EARLY!!

Files seem too large to upload.....if interested, e-mail me off line
