I was at "The Stairs" in Santa Monica right by PCH and Pacific Palisades and the orange haze was not good for my asthma. After doing cardio for an hour I get back to my car and notice something........it's covered in ASHES! I'm 30 miles away from these fires! Damn fires. If it was natural...ok. Arsonists? Send them to Ekstrand's house, he'll deal with them properly.

when i was at the gym yesterday i could barely make it to twenty minutes running on the treadmill because of the crap in the air. apparently earlier today there was an advisory on television not to exercise indoors or outdoors due to the smoke in the air.

Yeah, my kid, whic has asthma, played basketball in his room for literally 10 min. last night, and he was wrecked. I had to put the humidifier on all night and he was on the inhaler like a hungry child on mom's teat.

That's horrible. I hope he/she had insurance. Even with, being displaced from your home and losing most of your possessions is devastating.

Great. Was just thinking this morning nice to not be affected by the fires, no smoke, no ash. Now I hear ny normal route home (Ortega Highway) is closed due to a fire :( so gotta take the looooong way home. At least there is no brush on the hills near my house as it all burned last year.
