Recommendation for email hosting?

Relative of mine asked me to give him a recommendation for a good reliable web/email hosting company.
He mainly wants email hosting for his company of around 50+ employees accessing via Outlook.

I personally only have experience with 1and1 and we all know what kind of nightmare that was.

So... any suggestions/recommendations?

I use GoDaddy for my wife's business email, with pretty good results. We host our own site, though.
