12/14/08 Course
Maybe it was because it was my first time driving an Evo, but the course last weekend was a blast. My hat goes off to the course designer! Thank you!

That would be Christine Berry. It was the kind of course anyone could have fun on yet was very challenging to the more experienced people to get it all right.Damon Laser wrote:Maybe it was because it was my first time driving an Evo, but the course last weekend was a blast. I agree. I LOVED IT!
I didn’t exactly do well, but I loved the fact that there were many options for a line. plenty of room. pretty well marked. (unlike a recent events start).
I loved the first slalom in the back, and the one before the finish.... heck, i just liked the whole track.

as the photographer sitting toward the end of the 1st set of slalom, it was very interesting to see people's different approaches to the gates at the end of the slalom.. there were some .. exciting moments as people realized that their angle of approach was much too shallow for the next set of cones..
Mike's set of "evil cones" were able to catch a few people off guard too..

Damn. Recovering from a stressful trip back east that was more complicated and longer than it was supposed to be.Casey Brier wrote:sucks you werent there man. we had lots of miatas in the CSP class.(I brought a bunch of my friends)
