I'll write a letter in support of kit cars in Mod class, let's get that Noble classed! Where should it go? EM or DM?

I've been slacking as I was reigning champ until Marshall and Christine took the lead. But I'll be back!Aaron Goldsmith wrote:Wheeew, I didn't think there would be any way i'd be first to post. Marshall and Christine must be sleeping in or something.Robert Puertas wrote:Damn it Aaron beat me to it.

EM by virtue of it's engine size (over 2000cc).
Thanks!
BTW, here's my original letter:
Dear SEB members,
In an effort to add some new blood to D and E Modified I am requesting the following rules change:
Allow limited production cars and kit cars in D and E Mod by defining a minimum track, minimum wheelbase and minimum weight for cars not listed in Appendix A.
Under the existing rules, it is currently possible to utilize a tube frame sports racer chassis and drop on a full carbon fiber body so long as it loosely resembles something listed in Appendix A and meets certain minimum dimensions. In essence, the degree to which a car looks like one of the cars listed in Appendix A is all that is keeping certain kit cars out of D and E Mod. This is pretty silly. Even more so if you've looked at some of the cars currently competing in these classes.
This addition will not appreciably change the make-up of these classes, as the top cars in D and E mod are at best tenuously based on the production variant. Rather, it will only allow a few more cars a reasonable place to play.
I would also allow production based cars modified in excess of the current rules to play under this change. By this I mean something like a mid-engined, rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive CRX or MINI.
In all of these cases, I would recommend an additional weight penalty of 50 lbs. beyond the modified tub adjustment. I would also recommend establishing a minimum track of 46" and a minimum wheelbase of 80" using the specs for a Bugeye Sprite.
Respectfully submitted,
Robert Puertas
