New Year's Day Drives

Post by Kathy Teulie »

Hi,

The following two drives are happening in the area on New Year's Day.

LA area:
A Porsche group (all Sport Cars Welcome):

Map: 15854 Strathern St., Van Nuys, CA 91406

Orange County area:

Tour d'Orange:

http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?p=5711580" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Map: Corner of RedHill & Fischer in Costa Mesa:

In prior years we had so much fun driving the canyon roads and seeing all the great cars. We have driven with both groups in the past.

Thank you for providing the links Steve and Kurt.

Doug and I are leaning towards driving the TRE drive in LA.

Let me know if you are thinking of going.

Kathy

Ooo, let me know what you find! I did the Hangover Run in OC with a whole bunch of other Miatas and RX-7s/RX-8s a couple of years ago. Tons of fun. :gpower:

I thought New Years day was for hangovers and football????

Of course the only game that matters is OU crushing FL.

We're in.

We need to bring promotional material (an maybe drive our autocross cars?). We'll be surrounded by potential customers.

Bet this would be a fun drive in an M Coupe, if a certain chairman was interested.

I am glad that you all can make it. For the TRE drive, it has been suggested to get there alittle early. I am going to attempt to get there by 6:45am. There will be some other S2000's there so if you can try to park near my car (red S2000) or some other S2000's. I am hoping that we can roll out together.

If they do it as they have in years past, there are two phases. They stop for lunch after the first phase, some cars will leave and new ones will start at that point.
