In Memory of Dick Takashima - "Have Fun" ... and retiring CSCC # 90

Any association with Steve E, ie. "Have Fun" ?

I think Richard promoted Have Fun before Mr. Eguina.

Only knew him for a short while, but wonderful guy. Ran a CM open wheel car. Stacey wanted to buy it but just couldn't pull the trigger in time.
We actually used to have a fairly active Mod contingent when I first started in 2000.

That's Eguina's tribute to Tak, it was his slogan.

Taka was a great guy and always happy and fun to hangout with.

Have Fun! was HIS and is my little part to keep his memory alive. He was good friend to all who knew him.

SO...........Have Fun!

At our Buttonwillow event later that year we had a nice dedication ceremony for a tree planted in Tak's honor. I remember it was a beautiful sunset that evening. His widow came up for it.
