Are Jrs going to run at lunch on Sat or some other time?
If lunch, got a target time? We have a morning interview at Polytechnic School for Robert.

Yes allowed. But don't forget a passengar needs to fill the SCCA membership form ($0 for 'Passenger' only).

Saturday's practice list is up above (message 2). Have only 7 spots left. Sunday has plenty of room still, but I suspect will fill quickly as Saturday locks up.

Hi Jay,

Don't know about anyone else, but your tabbed entries for the practice list aren't showing up.

Refund through paypal, which will go back to whatever method you used.

From Cal Club ... looks like there will be plenty to see and do when you want a break from running AX:

Says EVERYONE must go through Registration upon arrival at AAA Spdwy ... does that include us?

You don’t want to miss the Cal Club National / Double Regional at AAA Speedway on January 23, 24 and 25. It is going to be GREAT. Practice starts on Friday afternoon with the first Regional Races on Saturday and then Sunday, it’s a full day of both National and Regional Racing!!! Our Cal Club Solo folks will hold a practice event on the large lot inside the oval both days and the Cal Club Rally Teams will “Rally to the Race”, arriving at the track Saturday morning.

Remember that everyone must go through Registration upon arrival at AAA Speedway. We have moved Registration inside the oval, in the Garage Number #2 (center Garage complex of the 3) Registration Office, not outside the track as we have in the past. You will be allowed into the paddock as long as registration is opened. If registration is closed you will be directed to a holding parking lot within the speedway gates until registrations opens. Please check the Cal Club website for the latest schedule.

Race Participants, as of this writing the garage spaces are selling fast – better hurry if you want a rental garage.

We are planning to have track tours for our Solo and Rally participants on Saturday and Sunday as well as for guests Car Clubs (such as the Miata group / Vette group). Cal Club is always looking to showcase our racing events, so if you belong to a car club and wish to participate – contact Ceci or Steve Staveley and let them know your club's interest and we will see what we can work out during the lunch time periods.

If you coming to the race, invite a friend to share in your passion and interest in our sport and maybe we can get them a ride in one of the solo, rally or car club cars on the track during the “track tours”.

Speaking of the lunch time, Saturday’s lunch time period will be special as we are planning a Data Acquisition Seminar in the Driver's Lounge put on by Dave and Ellen Ferguson from Veracity Racing Data. All Club members and racers are encouraged to attend. Please register on line for this specific activity, as it helps us keep track of the number of chairs etc. needed.

The Cal Club Board of Governors is proud to announce the RE’s appointment of Gayle Jardine as Assistant RE for Solo. Gayle is a long time participant and official in the Cal Club Solo community and will work with our RE to insure we are providing excellent communication and coordination between the different elements of the Club. Gayle begins her new assignment immediately. Thanks Gayle for taking on this important assignment for all of Cal Club.

The Clubs Annual Meeting is scheduled for Saturday at 6:00 PM in the Driver's Lounge at AAA Speedway – the end of Garage Complex #2, next to the Registration Area. All Club members are invited to attend. The agenda will include a short presentation, and then open for any questions or comments that any member of Cal Club wishes to make and all are invited and encouraged to attend.

This is going to be a Race Weekend to remember so don’t miss it.

I'm working on an answer. I doubt it too, club racers have a habit of saying 'everyone' when they mean only club racers.

The registration building is where they typically do the waiver for a club race, so that should apply to everyone. Unless Jayson gets something else worked out with them.

I suppose it could be because Solo folks can participate in the Track Tour, that waivers [SCCA and Speedway] might be centralized.

O, one question I had, is there a $10/person gate fee like when speed ventures holds practice there?

and if there is, the gate fee is separate each day?

No we don't have to do the central check in, we're, in Papa CalClub's words, "COOL".
