Having Withdrawals?

Post by Steve Glusman »

So we got cancelled due to high winds...and you didn't make it to San diego...and you're having withdrawals....

Here is my video from the San diego practice on 1/18 -- nice fast course....and i drive so slow you see it nicely!

A bit of coaching from Mr. Berry and i was off and running!

Thanks for the post, Steve. I HAVE been jonesin'.

BTW, I'm thinking about doing an event or two in SD this summer. They don't have a SK classes, do they? Would I just eat it and run in regular DS with my street tires? Or is there a more appropriate class for my car (maybe DDD stock? ).

... and if you think our SK2 is competitive, just wait until you hit San Diego. It wasn't uncommon to have more than 15 competitors per event with the spread from first to tenth less than one second. As Greg Woelke likes to say: "Be prepared for heartbreak." }:)

For heartbreak, I'd have to think I stood a chance at trophying. Moby won't cooperate, unless they set up a GRA-inspired, accelerationfest. He doesn't like those pesky turns and weight transitions.
