What's Toyota Hiding?
In this time lapse video.... http://www.gofastvideo.com/video/1863/T ... uild-Video there is part about 2/3s of the way through where they blur out a portion of the car's body as it sits on the left side of the screen. What are they covering up? I have some friends asking and I have no clue. F1 fans out there????

Looks like something on the undertray. That's one of the few things they're allowed to hide at this point (since it doesn't need to be covered to keep it hidden from a normal camera), so they may just be playing coy.

That's what it looks like. With the limited rear wing, creating downforce by controlling airflow under the car will more important.Steve Ekstrand wrote:Probably the exact shape of the rear diffuers.

the central diffuser is the the least restricted aero device in the rules. it's where 'the magic' happens.

the forward part of the floor is where all the cheating happens. there aren't many rules for the central diffuser, so how can they cheat?Giovanni Jaramillo wrote: Fixed that for you!To all the "tifosi" out there

Cheating physics is the best kind of deceit.

Joke Marshall...intended for Bill. I claim to know nothing of the rules but if there is some way to "bend" whatever rules there are for the rear diffuser I can ASSURE you Ferarri will exploit it to the max and then claim ignorance.Marshall Grice wrote:the forward part of the floor is where all the cheating happens. there aren't many rules for the central diffuser, so how can they cheat?Giovanni Jaramillo wrote: Fixed that for you!To all the "tifosi" out there
