Software asks for existing password, which is entered, click submit, goes back to same/screen/question with no place to enter new password.

Password maintenance is done at http://www.solo2.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, not on these forums.

Max is correct. These forums do not control any of the user names of passwords. It is all referenced off of the solo2.com site.Max Hayter wrote:Password maintenance is done at http://www.solo2.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, not on these forums.
I think Aaron tried to turn off the password stuff on the forums but it won't let you.

If it still doesn't work, another culprit might be that your cookies are turned off.

I try my best to make it real obvious with all the FAQs and posting them as announcements. They don't help if people don't read'm though.
I do agree it's a little goofy, but it's how it works right now. It's the argument between if people are willing to remember more than one account and password or if they want everything the same. I think people are used to having multiple passwords these days, but that might be because I do it for a living, since I seem to be the only one of that belief.

I agree with you on this point. Heck, you don't have to have multiple passwords. The same password on multiple sites works too. The ironic thing is this forum is different than all the others I'm on because of the space in the user name between first and last names. But I do have symmetry between solo2.com and forums.solo2.com.Aaron Goldsmith wrote: I think people are used to having multiple passwords these days, but that might be because I do it for a living, since I seem to be the only one of that belief.
