Re: 2009 San Diego Tour & El Toro Pro Reg Open
So, I'm registered for the SD tour, but when I go to register for the pro, it changes the pricing drop down to SD when I pick my number. Even though it continues to say El Toro at the top of the page. I guess I'll try again later.

KJ- You need to register early and take Jason's regular number... You know just start the trash talk now... You can still count his solo national championships on the fingers of a single hand. He's human. I think.

That would be Jennifer's number, I am just to lazy to take a spare set and change them. I doubt she will run much if any this year, busy with another hobby, so I should be free to use any number I want.Steve Ekstrand wrote:KJ- You need to register early and take Jason's regular number... I have run slow enough for the last few years to get my index lowered, and the car set to move to CS.... You think I cant fool the locals in to thinking they can keep up. }:)

So is the Pro Tour like the Pro Solo, where you have to participate in at least two regional events? Is there some sort of year-long points accumulation or these all stand-alone events? I read the description on the Web site, but it was pretty short.

Re: 2009 San Diego Tour & El Toro Pro Reg Open
There's no such thing as a pro tour, there's a national tour and it's the national version of what we do every event. If you don't do one before you go to nationals they charge you extra on your entry equivalent to the cost of a tour entry. This year they have Tours, regional championships and national championships.Kurt Rahn wrote:So is the Pro Tour like the Pro Solo, where you have to participate in at least two regional events? Re: 2009 San Diego Tour & El Toro Pro Reg Open
According to Nancy Downing, it works best if you use Internet Explore.
I also had the same issue. I registered for the SD Tour using FireFox and everything worked seamlessly. When attempting to register for the Pro, the SD Tour kept populating in the fee section. I tried registering using IE and it worked great.
F.Y.I there seems to be an error on the entry list page. They are working to resolve this.

the fee issue goes away if you log out and log back in, but it will take the registration even if the fee says the wrong event (it does put the entry in the correct event)Katy Nicholls wrote: I also had the same issue. and if you're signing up for El Toro you might as well sign up for alameda at the same time:

and registering for the pro worked for me this last time when i used internet explorer.

So for purposes of registering in E-Mod...
Do you think the car pictured in my avatar looks more like a MR2 or a Fiero?

Re: 2009 San Diego Tour & El Toro Pro Reg Open
Okaaaaaaaay. So what if I use a Mac and I don't have IE. Microsoft hasn't offered a Mac version since earlier this milennium. It constantly baffles me why a business would cut off a percentage of their potential customers when it's so easy to optimize Web pages for other browsers that happen to work on everything.According to Nancy Downing, it works best if you use Internet Explore.

Exactly!
Close enough for E-Mod right?
I mean, have you seen some of these cars that are supposed to be Sevens or Esprits or Sprites, or whatever?
