This is very cool.
I wonder how it would fare against US regulations??
Take a look at the weight of a contemporary vehicle and compare it to a "big boat" from the 60s / 70s.
You will find that in many cases a curennt car weighs as much or more.
Granted some of this is convenience AC, sound syst. But the majority of it is due to design by congress either through passive or active safety and emission requirements.
That's progress.
