Looking for John who drives the blue STi

Post by Jamie Lessie »

He was so kind to loan us lunch money last event we attended and I would like to pay him back. I tried to search for him but there are a lot of Johns on this forum!

Much appreciated!

BTW: I miss you guys! I will be at the SD event on Saturday but I don't think it will be the same. Hopefully I will have time to go up to Fontana for another event soon. You guys are great. I used to hate going to the track to drag race because everyone is so...er unfriendly (to put it nicely)

You rock!

Lots of CSCC members will also be in San Diego next weekend, especially because shortly there after is the SCCA National Tour race down there. You might want to look into attending that event. It's just like our events, just a bit bigger ... with more top drivers coming in from around the country.

John, with a Blue STI ?

I know our Team Blew's John Basinger wasn't there on Sunday ... older, white haired gentleman with a blue STI.

There was a Blue STI owned by Michael Henderson and co-driven by Norm Roberts. Another one driven by Thomas Shepard, from San Diego ... older, with a bit of a limp.

I didn't notice any other blue STI's. There were silver ones and blue WRX's? But don't know any other STI Johns.

Thanks Mako!

This was for the event in December which was (sadly) the last one I attended. I don't think you were at that event, Mako. It might be John Basinger. He said his son is usually there with him (except his son was not there that day) and I think they share the car. He is the one who pays for his lunch in $1 coins :D It was very kind of him to help out with lunch. We had some Gatorade and a couple of 5-year-old kudos bars (I didn't know how old they were, I just grabbed them when we left the house) A hot burger was oh so welcomed on that cold rainy day. My brother was especially happy to have a burger after opening up one of those Kudos bars *icky*

It would be nice to see a lot of you there on Saturday. It has been a while! I am bringing my whole family this time as well as a friend from church. Hopefully I will be able to beat my brother this time. *crossing fingers for a tight course!*

Mako, are you coming? I still owe my grandfather some pictures of my brother and I on the track ;)

Thanks for the compliments Jamie. I have a bit of good news for you: our next event is April 4th/5th at El Toro. It's a different venue, easy to get to from S.D. (it's in Irvine) and the layout is even more open than the big lot in Fontana.

I hope you and your brother can make it.

What do you like to cook?

That is awesome. I have never met anyone else who likes cars and cooking lol.

That is actually how I pay to keep that black pain in the ass going. I am a private chef. It is funny because I cook when I am not working to! I love it! I love to eat more though! hehe

Chile Verde, rice and beans last night ... pork chops and corn tonight for guest. Question ... Mash Potatoes and gravy or a "stove top" dressing ? Definitely going through another Pork phase. :D

Simple stuff ... done well.

My japanese father loved chinese food, my JAP (jewish american princess) Ex loved Sushi/Sashimi and I like German food ... having grown up there. German food rarely won out when we went out to eat.

Off to lunch ... left over pasta ... yummy to my tummy.

So lets see, an attractive woman who loves to cook and drive fast in a nice car....

Uh, if you're not already taken, where do we send the marriage proposals? ;)

I like pork! Not a fan of the "lean" parts of the animal but the shoulder, belly and ribs are great. I made baby back ribs tonight actually mmmmmmm That stuff is artery-sticken good!

Gravy is always good with pork and I LOVE mashed potatoes. A little late now though. I think you have already had dinner by now :o

You can send them to revolutionmotorsports@hotmail.com

lol jkjk. I have a boyfriend and I love him very much. We would be engaged/married if it weren't for bad job situations. I am loosing my chef job early summer as the family I cook for is moving. He cannot find a job. He is almost fluent in Japanese and has a bachelors in Business Administration. He is very smart and personable but jobs are hard to come by now. No one wants Japanese speakers anymore it seems. They are all looking for those who speak Mandarin Chinese :(

We lived in Taiwan over the summer so I wouldn't mind moving there for a while. I would miss my car though.

He paid for my lunch, my boyfriends lunch and my brothers lunch. He deserves something for it. Maybe some cookies :D I have wanted to back you all a cake in the shape of a cone but I have not figured out how to safely transport it
