haha Mako, on my third run I almost spun the car entering the final slalom, once I got my focus back far ahead the first thing I saw was a big camera lens pointed at me! I don't know which was scarier.

Aaron, I just came up with a thought....a sub-forum in Events called "Photos". Thoughts?
This gentleman's name is Sam and this was his first time autox'ing. I rode with him on every run and exciting runs they were. Remember when everything looked like a sea of cones your first couple of events? Sam has some previous racing experience but I don't think he anticipated how hard seeing the course would be. Yeah we might have DNF'd once or twice but he really enjoyed the experience. He seems like a very likable chap and I think he'll be back........but course workers beware until he gets the hang of this.

No, but I do see the similarity.

Sam worked gate in the afternoon when I was there to keep track of things. I had the opportunity to chat with him. He had a great time. Appreciates vintage cars despite owning a C5 Vette. He also has experience riding motorcycles and driving various cars on track. His son works for Garret and is to blame, er, is responsible for his coming out.
11 pages of pictures....and not one of my candy apple red (actually crystal red metallic...but who cares) C6 Corvette convertible Oh well, mabe next time....
Of course no photos from the first run group ... when I was running ... plus missed most of run group 4. There were some other people shooting. Hopefully they will post ...
The orange in the back wheel, am I looking through both wheels to see a cone in the sunlight on the other side of the car?

Excuse my poor photography skills. My stock Nikon D40x lens can not zoom very far at all. However, if you would like a 3872x2592 resolution of any specific photos then please PM me. All the photos are from the first run group.

I love that idea! Perhaps "Event Photos & Videos" to allow for both.
