Local spot to buy a helmet
So, I'm in the market for an SA2005 helmet and was hoping to get one locally so I can try a few on. Anyone know of a place?

Whoops, forgot that the city/state was there on the side.

Re: Local spot to buy a helmet
I can't tell you over all, really because I was buying something of a niche product (a kid's helmet) and almost nobody stocks those so I was doomed to MSRP. I had to fit it to two kids so I was willing to pay the price for the opportunity to test-fit.
Adult helmets may be prone to some competitive pricing, you'll have to call and find out. Your other option is to try someone else's helmet and then go mail-order once you know it will work for you.

Good deals to be had at this local Bell Store:

Oops ... I don't know if they have a walk in service.

I've been there, it's not really a store front type of place, more like a unit in a business park, but I picked up a face shield. Been a while though, I'd call first.Mako Koiwai wrote:Good deals to be had at this local Bell Store:

Looks like WerksII is open on Saturday's now. I'll head out there and look around.

Sometimes he's out ... sometimes he's next door where his brother works on racing Porsche's ... look through the window. Behind Werks II, same building ... is Guildstrand Corvette ... you'll still find the old Master tinkering on some monster Vette.
