afre there other solo organizations

Post by Alberto Castaneda »

are there other organizations that put on auto x events or is it just SCCA?

been looking to get out on the course again, but don't want to have to drive out to El Torro, or San Diego to do so.

Auto club speedway is 10 min from me. but next event isn't until May 2nd and 3rd

Marque-specific clubs do autocross too, particularly the BMW Club http://www.bmwclubla.org/ and Porsche Club http://www.pcala.com/.

El Toro is pretty close considering how far most people in the US have to travel to get to a quality event!

You could have been racing every weekend if you were willing to drive for an hour. You should consider yourself lucky you're so central.

Let's see, where has the Porsche Club and the BMW club been racing lately - El Toro and San Diego. Same as the SCCA.

Wrong. BMWCCA - LA chapter never raced at El Toro. In fact their program dies, tries to come back alive, then dies again. Pretty sad. But they only race at Auto Club Speedway. They have one event in April if you look. The San Diego chapter always races at Qualcomm Stadium.

Gio, what I meant was the combination of Porsche/BMW is at El Toro and SD. Porsche at El Toro, BMW at Qulacomm. The point being, neither were in Fontana.

I think he means: Porsche/BMW at El Toro/San Diego, respectively.

Give him a break. He struggles with colonial english.
