14 or 15 years old, worked as a Deckhand on the Fisherman III out of H&M Landing in San Diego....made about $36/day + tips....lots of hard work, and probably why my vision is so messed up (couldn't afford good sunglasses).

About the same time, worked as a Churro Boy at SeaWorld.... min wage was about $5.00/hr, so not too shabby. I made the best churros, hands down...I can still make a better one than anyone :) We used to be scheduled for like an hour and a half every Friday evening/night to pull the food carts out of the storage lot and set them up all over the park before the weekend. Sucked big time, for about $6 after taxes for the shift and having to drive all the way down there, wear your uniform, and be done in like 45 minutes and drive all the way home. Gas sure was cheap though, but the Camaro was a V6.

I was also a dancing clown/sign spinner BEFORE THEY WERE COOL at an opening of a haircut place in Pacific Beach in the mid-90's. Entertaining, KUSI did a news piece on me....then people would throw handfulls of pennies at me as they drove by. Lasted a summer, lots of workout, timed my 6-hour shift by how many times the bus came to the stop. No, I did not have music. Yes, that and my wedding are the only times I have danced...ever.

Other than the normal paper route and lawn tending... First real job was working at a feed and grain mill.. sacking feed and loading trucks. most of the sacks were 100lbs, so I was lookin' pretty buff by the end of the summer. Most of my friends were pullin down $1.35/hr. I think I was gettin about $4.50/hr so I figured my %#@$ didnt stink too much. perhaps a different story in retrospect.
What I want now is a job like Mr. Motonishi, He is my new idol. Plays with cars most of the time ( for pay ) and with his spare time he plays with cars most of the time ( learning how to drift and stuff ) Hook me up buddy !

Seaworld! I loved/hated that "if a seagull eats someone's food" rule.
Eat a 95% of a churro, come back with a wrapper and the last 5%.
"Seagull ate my churro." 1x new churro.
"Seagull ate my babyback ribs."

Do you still have your magnetic nametag?

Isn't Ken working for an escort service now? :D ... I mean missing a driving event, missing driving Henry's Vette to take a Gal to the theater? What's up with that.
